2 cups white chocolate chips …..............……….… 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla & baking powder. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, white chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large TB onto ungreased pans (or form about 1-1/2” balls with your hand * press down a little with the bottom of a glass).
Bake for about 6-10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until just barely beginning to turn light brown and tops start to crackle. Makes 4 dozen
** For puffier cookies, substitute 1 cup vegetable oil for the butter
