I'm CINDY ... a wife, mother and grandmother, and a new great-grandmother from NE Texas. I lived for over 40 years in California too, so my style of cooking is Southern comfort food, with a nod towards HEALTHY. Many of my recipes will also include sugar-free versions. *** I learned to bake from my grandmother, and cook from my mother ~ and many of the recipes I make are ones that I grew up with in the 1950's. My passion is baking. I've done dessert catering (including my own parties for 750+ people) and also sell homemade baked goods on eBay. But, I also DO cook dinner 5 nights per week, and those recipes will all be posted. **

I try to work out on the weight machines at the gym each day (but don't always make it) ~ my husband and I like to go country dancing at a nearby honky tonk on Saturday nights ** Saturdays are spent watching the Texas grandkids play football, soccer, and basketball ~ and the cheerleading squads and competitions *
