Triple CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
1 box chocolate cake mix (triple fudge or devil’s food are best)
1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter …………………………. 1/4 cup peanut butter
2 tsp chocolate syrup (I like dark)……………...………….1 egg
1 heaping TB unsweetened cocoa powder (I like dark best)
2 TB flour.........................................................................1/4 cup peanut butter chips
sugar for pressing down the tops

Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Put about 1/4 cup white sugar on a plate.
Mix all ingredients together well and form 1-1/2” balls. (batter will be thick ~ squeeze balls together, if necessary). Put onto prepared baking sheets. Dip the bottom of a flat glass into the sugar and press down the top of each cookie (to flatten slightly).
Bake 10-12 minutes ~ Cool and drizzle with glaze. Makes 2-3 dozen
EASY GLAZE: Put about 1/4 cup canned chocolate frosting into a bowl; add 1-2 tsp. creamy peanut butter, plus 1 tsp. chocolate syrup and 1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder. Whisk in liquid 1 tsp. at a time (milk or any chocolate liquid coffee creamer) until smooth consistency. Can drizzle or spread on cooled cookies.
