Sugar Free CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FUDGE
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate (3 squares)
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4-1 cup Splenda **
Grease/spray an 8” square pan. Line the pan with foil (extending over the edges & grease/spray the foil. Melt the unsweetened chocolate squares in a small saucepan ~ cool. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth ~ add the cooled, melted chocolate and mix well. Add Splenda and vanilla and beat until texture of mixture becomes creamy and smooth. ** (Taste it ~ the cream cheese adds a “tang” and you may want to add more sweetener now)
Once the mixture is smooth, add in the chopped nuts. Pour this mixture into the baking pan, allow it to settle and cover it. Keep the baking pan in refrigerate overnight to harden. Cut it into 1" squares. (Store in refrigerator)
