1 small package of brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on package)
bag of Reese's mini peanut butter cups
decorator icing (optional)
Preheat oven to 350. Line 2 12-cup mini-muffin tins with mini-muffin papers. Set aside.
In a bowl, prepare the brownie mix per instructions on the package. Put a heaping teaspoon into each mini-muffin tin. It should make 24, but if you have extra batter, you can distribute it evenly into the other tins (they can be about 3/4-full).
Bake for 10 minutes, and check to see if a toothpick comes out clean. If not, put back into the oven for another 2-3 minutes or so. Remove them from oven and put onto a rack. IMMEDIATELY push a mini-peanut butter cup down into the center of each mini-brownie. Cool.
If desired, put dots of decorator icing at edge of peanut butter cup to dress them up for the Holidays. Makes 2 dozen.
