1/3 cup real butter (not softened), cut into cubes
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
Filling:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs (13 squares if making them)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (I like dark, but whatever you like)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (I like pecans, but whatever you like)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated)
Frosting:
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350. … In bowl, cut butter into flour and sugar until crumbly (pastry cutter or 2 forks). Press in bottom of ungreased 9x13” pan. Bake for 10 minutes; cool about 10 minutes. (It will only be partially baked)
Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; mix well. Spread over crust. Return to oven and bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
In small bowl, blend all frosting ingredients until creamy; spread over cooled pan. Cut into 36 bars
