Hot BUTTERED APPLE PIE RUM
1 cup of apple juice or apple cider (I like Simply Apple)
1/3 cup rum (light or dark)
2 tsp. unsalted butter
2 TB brown sugar (I like dark brown)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
dash of ground cloves
Put everything (except the rum) into a microwaveable pitcher (I use a pyrex measuring cup). Heat for about 60 seconds in the microwave, or until the butter has melted. Whisk a couple of times to dissolve the sugar and spices. Then whisk in the rum. Pour into 2 cups and enjoy!
