These little cookie acorns are just so cute, and easy enough for even toddlers to help make! Scatter them around a Fall cookie platter ... and you can make just as many as you need at a time.
FALL ACORN COOKIES
Mini cookies (Oreos, Golden Oreos, Nutter Butter ~ any mini cookie that is actually 2 cookies with frosting between them) * the $1 cups have more than enough in them *
Hershey’s Kisses (you can even use the seasonal flavors, like caramel or pumpkin)
Chocolate and/or Butterscotch and/or Caramel and/or Peanut Butter chips
Can of chocolate or caramel frosting (or chocolate peanut butter for Nutter Butter cookies)

Unwrap the Kisses (the hardest part to the recipe) * attach the Kiss to one side of the cookie with a dab of frosting * attach the chip to the other side of the cookie with a tiny dab of frosting.

I used butterscotch chips with the mini Oreos above, and salted caramel chips with the Golden Oreos ~ bottom right photo is Nutter Butter and peanut butter chips.
