CHOCOLATE ALMOND FRUIT TRAIL MIX
1 big bag of salted whole almonds (that's maybe 3-4 cups)
about 2-3 cups dried cranberries (Craisins), but golden raisins are good too
about 1 cup dried pineapple pieces (you may need to cut some of them smaller)
about 1 cup of yogurt chips (or vanilla baking chips, or yogurt-covered raisins)
1 to 1-1/2 cups of dark chocolate chips (dark M&Ms are good too and look pretty)
Just mix it all together and keep stored in a covered container. Put into baggies for your kids' lunches.
The dark chocolate has anti-oxidants which are good for you ~ and the almonds are very heart-healthy.
