SUGAR COOKIE SHAMROCKS
1 roll sugar cookie dough
green decorator or sparkling sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Put about 1/4 cup of the green sugar into a small deep bowl and set aside. I work with about 1/4 of the sugar cookie dough at a time (leaving the rest in the wrapper so it doesn't dry out). Make itty bitty balls (4 for each cookie) ~ about the size of a pea (or a little smaller), rolling in the palm of your hand. Drop each little ball into the green sugar and roll it so it's completely coated. Then put all 4 balls right next to each other on the baking sheet. (I put 12 to a sheet.)
Bake for about 9 minutes. Let them cool on the pan for a few minutes before removing to rack or paper to cool completely.
