Ham steak, bone in
2 TB real Maple syrup
1 TB Dijon or spicy brown mustard
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp orange marmalade
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients (except ham). Brush each side of ham steak very lightly.
Grill ham on BBQ about 5-6 minutes on each side, until grill marks appear. Lightly brush on more sauce as needed. ***
(You can also do this in a grill pan on the stove (use a little non-stick spray in the pan). Heat grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush on a small amount of vegetable oil.)
Serve when both sides are browned nicely with grill marks. If necessary, brush with a little sauce before serving. Serves 2
