No-Bake HALLOWEEN SPIDER COOKIES
flat cookies ~ as many as you want (I had 1 dozen snickerdoodles here)
1 miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cup or Rolo for each cookie
2 tiny candy eyes for each cookie (usually available by the other cake decorating stuff at the grocery store, especially before Halloween)
tube of black or dark brown chocolate decorator icing
NOTE: You can use a package of sugar-free cookies, and sugar-free peanut butter cups. The frosting and eyes won't be sugar-free, but the amount of sugar wouldn't be very much per cookie. You COULD use canned chocolate sugar-free frosting and put it into a small plastic baggie, snip off the very tip of one end; squeeze the frosting out of that end and use it as a piping bag though.

Lay out all your cookies on the counter. Unwrap all the peanut butter cups.
Squeeze out 8 legs on each cookie (4 legs on each side), meeting in the center of the cookie so there's a glob of frosting there. Then put a peanut butter cup (or rolo) in the center and press down lightly, so it sticks into the frosting glob.
You can put 2 dabs of frosting towards the top of the peanut butter cup for the eyes, but I found it's easiest to just put a straight line across of fairly heavy frosting; then gently stick 2 eyes into the frosting.
Let them dry. This frosting should harden up pretty quickly.
NOTE: You could always put a red hourglass on the top of the peanut butter cup with red decorator frosting if you want a black widow too!
