1/2 cup butterscotch chips and/or Heath toffee bits
Cream Cheese Frosting:
4 oz. cream cheese, softened………………......…......3 TB butter, softened
1 tsp. butterscotch extract or 2 tsp. butterscotch ice cream topping (OPTIONAL ~ stronger flavor)
3 cups powdered sugar................................................reserved butterscotch pudding mix

Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9x13” pan with non-stick baking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, pudding mix, sugar, and baking powder.
In another bowl, combine egg, melted butter, oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix the egg mixture into the flour mixture with a wooden spoon, stirring until just blended.
Mix in the chips or toffee bits.
Press the dough into the prepared pan. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. While they’re baking, make the FROSTING:
Combine cream cheese, butter, and butterscotch pudding mix in your electric mixer bowl (also add the butterscotch extract or ice cream topping, if you want a much stronger butterscotch flavor). Gradually add the powdered sugar, and beat until light and fluffy. Spread over the cooled bars (add sprinkles) and cut into squares.
