1-1/2 lb white baking chocolate ……………….. pinch salt
1 can sweetened condensed milk (i.e. Eagle Brand ~ NOT evaporated)
1-1/2 tsp peppermint extract …………………... 1 cup chopped candy canes **
Melt white chocolate with condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in peppermint extract and crushed peppermint candy. Spread evenly onto parchment paper-lined 8 or 9" square pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Cut into squares. [Store tightly covered at room temperature.]
You can also use peppermint starlight kisses. I put them into a freezer zip-lock baggie and roll over them with a rolling pin (or pound with a hammer)
