HOT SPICED TODDY
2 TB rum, brandy or whiskey (to numb your throat a little)
1 TB maple syrup or honey (to coat your throat and help stop coughing)
1 slice of lemon and a squeeze of lemon juice, or about 1 tsp. (Vitamin C)
1 cinnamon stick (cinnamon has been long known for it's healing powers) or 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Boiling water

Add everything to a mug. Fill up with boiling water and stir to mix. Taste and add more syrup or lemon if desired. Snuggle up in your favorite blankie on the sofa and sip ** (Don't forget to BREATHE DEEPLY because the scent will help open your sinuses too) ** Makes 1 drink.
